I am sure that many we interviewed were quality individuals, but when putting what you love the most in the care of another, it becomes very difficult to find someone you feel is completely genuine in that they have a heart for children and not just "in it for the paycheck" so to speak. I agree with the idea of a teddy cam, especially at the begining. I believe one should mention it in the interview and anyone who objects simply will not get the job. Think of the high security positions all over the world that monitor employees in this fashion because of the sensitive nature of their work. Is protecting the safety of my child any less sensitive than multi-million dollar projects? Obviously not.
