We have one child and it was very difficult to find a nanny that we felt we could trust completely. I am sure that many we interviewed were quality individuals, but when putting what you love the most in the care of another, it becomes very difficult to find someone you feel is completely genuine in that they have a heart for children and not just “in it for the paycheck” so to speak. I agree with the idea of a teddy cam, especially at the begining. I believe one should mention it in the interview and anyone who objects simply will not get the job. Think of the high security positions all over the world that monitor employees in this fashion because of the sensitive nature of their work. Is protecting the safety of my child any less sensitive than multi-million dollar projects? Obviously not.
What an invaluable service. Anyone with children knows you can never be too careful and this definitely helps parents feel better about who to entrust their children to. I love it.

Anyone that has had to find a sitter knows the anguish you go through when you walk out the front door leaving for the day. Peace of mind is what is needed and that is why I love the idea of the Teddy Cam.
